GXS is a data marketplace on the blockchain. Their decentralized network allows for transference and storage of private data as well as the ability to verify credit on chain. A solution such as this is meant to provide a safe transport for information while protecting the privacy of the parties involved. This type of security could become a valuable asset in the future for banking, consumer loans, or other businesses that require the transmittance of personal information.
While their proposed product is very useful they have a good deal of competitors also clamoring for market share, and they might not have the muscle to take them on. This should be considered before making a GXChain investment.
You can buy GXChain on at least one major US exchange in addition to several smaller players as well. The trading pairs are predominately skewed toward Bitcoin so you may have to trade this pair to get a decent exchange on your purchase.
You can store your GXS by creating an online wallet using their platform or by using their mobile application on iOS. As far as I can find it doesn't seem that they have a desktop wallet or are compatible with any hardware wallets which leaves storage options rather limited, unfortunately.
